5 precautions-

 

1. Do not start any new work during the eclipse.

 

2. Do not touch basil (Tulsi) during eclipse.

5. During pregnancy, pregnant women should not use sharp edged tools.

4. After the eclipse, one should donate to the poor.

Other measures to avoid the ill effects of lunar eclipse: -

 

1. Observe the fast of Somwar and Pradosh.

 

2. Do not keep Choti and Beard.

 

3. Eat saffron pudding ( kesar Kheer ) on Monday and feed the girls.

 

4. White clothes should be donated on Monday.

 

5. Worship Shivji and donate rice.
